Took them out today upon delivery and proceeded to pull off the plastic cover pieces "the ones that make you think that the ear buds are new & legit" over the AKG symbol. While pulling noticed that the entire backing was pulling off just as well.I lost the original pair that came with my phone so I bought these expecting them to be the exact same. However upon use I immediately realized that they had no bass whatsoever ever and made my music sound terrible. After two days of use, the left earbud LITERALLY fell apart.Save your money and purchase a better quality product as these are not the headphones that come with the Samsung Galaxy as they advertise. These are a far cry from the original ones I recieved with my S8 that I pre-ordered.These are very tinny sound with almost no bass and at top volume is only about 1/2 of what normal headphones are at.I didn’t wanna buy the actual headphones at full price, so I bought these and can see why they were rated so low.A lot of times the negative experience others have never happens to me, so I still buy even when the ratings aren’t great. It’s difficult to be upset since I assumed they weren’t authentic by the price alone but I thought I’d give them a go anyway.First note is that I already own a working pair of the original Samsung, AKG tuned earphones and they sound amazing. They are styled exactly the same but the material quality is significantly lower.I loved my original pair and unfortunately they were broken through no fault in their quality .These sound nothing like the earphones that come with the note 8 I tried them out side by side and it is a night and day difference between the two.On it’s own not comparing to the AKG ear buds that come with the Samsung I would say its ok, probably about as good as the headphones that come with the iPhone. There was an info card in the package with a customer service line.I called during the advertised hours and immediately got a friendly rep, who acknowledged they had gotten a bad shipment in the supply chain.I spend all day every day with headphones stuck in my ear but would rather sit in silence than put these back in.The wires are stiff, they easily tangle, the quality of music is …odd, and they are easily breakable.
