The sound quality is excellent, and so far in my experience the best available in this price point. If you’re not planning on using them during physical activity, they are a great buy.I consider myself somewhat of an audiophile.I am a Bose fan and have been for several years. While in my studio, I use my Sony professional headphones , but part of me always wanted a pair of Bose.I finally decided for my birthday, I’d splurge. They replaced my older bose headphones that I had previously owned for a couple years till I wore them out.I’ll break this review down into categories:Durability: 8/10 I am very active and exercise almost daily. The left ear bud is filled with static and the volume control spontaneously increases bit by bit until its at its loudest possible level.I have run on an elliptical, lifted weights, and run outside with them 2-3 times a week since March 22 when I began using them. It’s outstanding. But, Mr.I keep thinking with a name like Bose, they’d be solid, but they aren’t.Sound quality is fine, but they just keep breaking… I use these mostly when biking and mostly for listening to audio books when doing that. These sound good, but importantly, I can still hear the traffic, which is critical when biking on the road. These are really the only earphones I will ever buy, but alas it only gets 3 stars because they are ridiculously overpriced, and since the ear loops are patented by Bose they have a "monopoly" one these perfect fitting earphones.Bose earphones fit snugly in your ear without having the echoing noise that most earphones give you when the cord moves.I tried five other connection adaptors and still received the same results an error so it was not the adaptors.Using an connection adaptor I plugged this into my IPhone X and after playing for about 1-2 minutes an error box appeared on my IPhone stating it was not compatible with my device.
